Note 2: Standard anodized spools "A" and "B" are typically used for gold wire. Alternatively, conductive spools, type "C" and "N" may be used with gold wire.
Conductive spools provide more robust loading of the bonder. The non-anodized surface on the inside of conductive spool hub interfaces directly with the bonder's grounding point.
It is not necessary to ground the "Red" end of the wire to the bonder's ground point when using conductive spools.
